Presented by the Greater Columbus Arts Council | Kin360 Paid Partnership
Hey Columbus – it’s that time again!
The 2025 Columbus Arts Festival is back and bigger than ever, transforming the downtown riverfront into a creative wonderland of visual arts, music, fashion, food, and immersive experiences. From June 6–8, the city comes alive with more than 230 artists, interactive installations, live performances, and something new around every corner. This is your festival. Here’s why you don’t want to miss it.
What’s New for 2025?
This year’s festival is bursting with fresh features that make it more inclusive, engaging, and interactive than ever before:
Big Local Arts Stage Lighting & Projection Show
Don’t miss this mind-blowing visual experience from Mural ReMix and Bell Tree Productions—an electrifying fusion of light, color, and projection mapping that will transform your evening on the riverfront.Art Garden by Franklinton Arts District
Take a stroll through this lush, creative space near the Rhinegeist Beer Garden in West Bank Park. It’s a celebration of urban nature and artistry with live mural painting, interactive art panels, and QR-code-enabled purchases of featured artwork.Expanded Accessibility Features
The festival’s new online accessibility map and social story help ensure that everyone can experience the magic, regardless of ability or familiarity with large events. These tools are designed to make your visit smooth, informed, and stress-free.
Live, Local, and Electric: Over 230 Artists & Performers
You’ll discover talented artists from 31 states and Ontario, Canada, along with 20 up-and-coming creators through the Emerging Festival Artist program. This initiative empowers local talent, providing vital exposure and resources for creatives with limited festival experience.
From handcrafted jewelry to bold street-style paintings, the artist booths offer something for every vibe and every budget.
Plus, the Big Local Arts Village, supported by Bank of America, is your one-stop shop for Columbus creativity—featuring more than 80 local artists and live demos of everything from Japanese calligraphy to blacksmithing. Meanwhile, the Big Local Arts Stage bumps with Columbus-based DJs, bands, poets, and more.
Family-Friendly & Full of Fun
The Kids Hands-On Activities Village near COSI is a must for families. Think: magnet making, puppet design, artist trading cards, and even cookie decorating with edible ink. Local legends like BalletMet, Columbus Children’s Theatre, and the Columbus Zoo are on-site with interactive, educational fun.
Need more? Try out one of the “in-depth” paid workshops like guided painting or bouquet building with local floral artists.
